MECON Architecture Recruitment 2026– Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for both Architecture posts must possess:
Bachelor in Architecture (B.Arch.)
Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from Government Engineering Institutes falling under the category of “Institute of National Importance” identified by the Ministry of Education.
The qualification must have been acquired through Regular / Full-Time mode from a UGC-recognized university/institute.

Post Code 04(A) – Deputy Manager (Architecture)
Minimum:
05 Years of Post-Qualification Experience
Experience should be in:
- Design of Industrial facilities
- Design of Infrastructure facilities
- Revit
- AutoCAD
Exposure to the following is preferred:
- 3D Views
- Walkthrough
- Estimation
Post Code 04(B) – Manager (Architecture)
Minimum:
09 Years of Post-Qualification Experience
Experience should be in:
- Design of Industrial facilities
- Design of Infrastructure facilities
- Revit

The cut-off date for determining age and work experience is 08 July 2026.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwD: 10 Years for UR, 13 Years for OBC (NCL), 15 Years for SC/ST
- J&K Domicile: 5 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines
Additionally, 1 year of age relaxation is provided for every 1 year of additional experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years. The maximum age after relaxation cannot exceed 52 years.
